Michelle was born and raised in South Korea and moved to Calgary in 2007 at the age of 12. She started Calgary Korean Lessons in 2009 as a “part time gig” with hopes of sharing her culture and passion for languages. She didn’t realize at the time that she would grow with her passion project and meet countless of amazing Calgarians in the process!

After helping 100+ Calgarians reach their learning goals (both small and big) over a span of 10 years, Michelle decided to take a short break from tutoring to pursue a career in accounting. While she enjoys her accounting career, she just simply could not stop thinking about getting back into teaching Korean!

Now, she is back and is more excited than ever to connect with you and to help you reach your learning goals! Whether it is to tackle specific topics or to become conversational, Michelle can help with her years of experience and knowledge.
